India is second largest mobile market

The Indian mobile market was not even one tenth of the world’s then market leader, ten years back. A decade back US was the market leader for years together, but three years back, China overtook US as the world’s largest mobile market, due to its two digit economic growth consistently.

Few months back, India has overtaken US to become the world’s second largest mobile market, and it continues to grow at over 30% year on year. The current rate of growth in India is far higher than that of China.

So in the next two or three years, India will become unbeatable second largest mobile market in the world because it would have widened the gap with US substantially. US market is stagnant currently, and is expected to remain so for the next few years.

Even after hectic growth rate in mobile sales in the last few years, Indian mobile penetration continues to be less than 15% as on date. That leaves a massive growth potential for the next decade or so.

That is precisely the reason why even Chinese mobile majors are looking at participating in India growth story. Currently India is adding over eight to ten million new subscribers every month, which is nearly ten times the growth rate of US.

That being the case, these pirates have been forced to choose the profession, and do it in a daring style, which is shocking the entire civilized world. They have been able to hijack one ship every three or four weeks, and the latest haul in their list is a Saudi oil tanker said to contain crude oil which can feed one day requirement of entire UK.

The world can get rid of these pirates only if their economic condition in their country is improved to decent levels, which the world is now seriously pondering about.

Track news everyday

It always pays to track news on a daily basis, say at least half an hour every day.

Ideal option would be reading through a reputed newspaper every day, which would help you in covering all the categories including national / international / sports / politics/ business / health etc.,

The next best option would be to watch leading TV news channels for two slots of thirty minutes each every day. One in the morning and one in the night would be ideal. Because whether we like or not, things around us keep changing drastically in half a day’s time.

By tracking the news on a daily basis, you would be able to take proper decision relating to your travel / investments / job change / business plans etc., For example, by tracking the state of US economy on a daily basis, you will be able to time your home construction suitably. Also tracking of the stock markets will help you in putting part of your investment into stock market, when the index is at low levels.

And very importantly, you would be able to chat sensibly and impressively only if you are keeping yourselves updated with latest news data on a daily basis. So go ahead and recharge your data base every day.
