Just before the start of the tournament. the Pakistan cricket team was not considered to be worthy of winning the T20 world cup cricket tournament. And they struggled to enter the super 8 group through a nail biting match win.

But from there onwards they have been able to march past every team they met, with authority and dominance. They at last won the Final match versus the Sri Lankan team yesterday, with eight balls to spare. The contribution of every member of the team with their fielding / batting / bowling etc., contributed to the victory.
