Continental Airlines Inc.is one of the big airlines of US. Every other airlines have stopped giving free meal on board on their domestic sectors. Continental airlines have been continuing their free food on board on all their sectors till date.

Now Continental airlines are also planning to cut down the free food on board on their domestic sectors for economic seats only. This cut down is only for sectors whose flying time is less than six hours. In sectors whose flying time is more than six hours, though domestic, the passengers would be served food on board. However, free food would be served for business class tickets on all sectors and all international sectors.

They also have planned to introduce sales of food on board for economic class seats. This would help the airlines use lesser fuel in saving food. The passengers prefer to carry their own food rather than buying them on board, or they buy it from the airports.
