A revised proposal by HP was being received by 3Par ,utility storage provider. The proposal was for the common stock for about $33 for a share which has increased. The previous proposal the 3Par received was about $30 per share from HP. A superior proposal has been contributed by HP said the 3Par board of directors. The merger agreement with Dell has been notified by 3Par and the terms of termination is spoken.
3Par has ideas to start a merger agreement with HP as the revised acquisition proposal is desirable. The intention for the merger termination has been previously notified to Dell said 3Par and yet it is in full force. Dell has even raised the proposal price from $27 per share to 32 per share due to competition. Dell has asked for a increased termination fees about $92 million if 3Par accepts the superior proposal.
The agreement between 3Par and Dell will be a multi year agreement in which 3Par has change of control. At present the agreement between Dell and 3Par is alive so the board of directors unanimously asks the stockholders to take the cash tender by Dell. 3Par is a worldwide provider of multi-tenant storage arrays which are high virtual and dynamic for both public and private computing.
