The student performance gets boosted if he gets quick performance. Desperation increases the student gets better grades says a study. The research was conducted university of Alberta in Canada. The two psychological scientists involved in the research were Keri L.Kettle and Gerald Haubl .

The research was done to know the how the timing of expected feedback impacts on individuals. The study was done on based on students who enrolled in a class. The students were asked to give oral presentation for four minute. The presentation was rater on basis of 0(poor) and 10 (excellent).The students were told some of the results would be let out soon and some would receive later on.

The students who were told the results would be announced soon performed well than those whose results were out later on. The rapid anticipating results had done wonders making students gain better grades. The threat of disappointment was more in the result early students.
