The Sri Lankan poll results indicate a clean sweep victory for the incumbent President Rajapakse, while the opposition party has challenged the results. The opposition parties are indicating wide spread rigging of the voting, and therefore are challenging the results.
Given the power Rajapakse holds on the Sri Lankan establishment and also on the Army, it is going to be a difficult task for the Opposition to bring about any change in the results.
