Maritime piracy costs the global economy between $7bn (£4.4bn) and $12bn (£7.6bn) a year, a study says.

The report, launched by UK think-tank Chatham House, calculated the amount from the costs of ransom, security equipment and the impact on trade.

The majority of costs came from piracy off Somalia, it says.

Although the costs are said to be difficult to assess, one researcher estimated they had increased roughly five-fold since 2005.

The second eclipse will be near the Barents sea and the moon will be covering about 60% of the sun’s total diameter. A total lunar eclipses will be visible on June 15 of 2011 and will be visible in many parts of the world. The total lunar eclipse which will be on June 15 will be visible from India,Middle East,Africa and Southern Europe.

The eclipse on November 25 the moon will be covering about 90.4% of the sun’s diameter and visible in Antarctica and surrounding area. The second eclipses will be visible in Eurasia region and Australia and north Western part of North America. The last total eclipse for the year will be occurring on December 10 and will be seen by Eurasia ,Australia,North Western of North America.
